The first on the list of top kung fu movies is the Drunken Master. This film was directed by Yuen Woo Ping and it could possibly be said that the movie is Jackie Chan’s best kung fu performance. In a way, Drunken Master seems to be a semi sequel to one of his films, Snake in the Eagles Shadow which was produced in 1978. In this movie, Jackie shows some exceptional drunken fist movements. The film was filled with different display of martial acts. The next on the list is The Prodigal Son. This film was a combination of so many plots such as comedy, superb kung fu, violence, fantastic characters, music, and a great storyline. If you have watched this film, then you would not be shocked that it actually won the best action choreography in the year 1983. And just like Jackie’s movies, this one was also filled with plenty of fights and some show of spectacular kicking skills.

Another of the Top kung fu movies is the Legendary Weapon of Kung Fu which a brilliant film. Actors that feature in this film include Lau Kar Wing, Gordon Liu, Hsiao Hou, and Lau Kar Lung. There is also The Victim which has many plots. There are lots of unique fight scenes throughout the movie. The film could be said to be the best of Sammo with unique fights, acting, and characters. And for the record, the story line was great Drunken Master 2 which was produced sixteen years after the first one. In this film, Jackie displays a great skill in the martial act. The first main fight is between Lau Kar Leung and Jackie Chan and it takes place under a train. The fight moves to a house where Jackie barely gets out of the fight as his train starts taking off. The ending of the film is extremely wonderful with Jackie taking on loads in a factory and doing so many tricks that are almost unbelievable. The production of this movie was finished three months to Jackie’s fortieth birthday. There is also The Magnificent Butcher which was filled with many exciting characters and fights. Sammo acts as Butcher Wing, Wing Fei Hung’s student. Sammo is always getting into trouble with Wing Fei Hung coming to the rescue. This movie is a master piece that every lover of Kung Fu’s movies should watch. These are just few of the top kung fu movies.
